1 Star – Extremely Poor Service Shocking experience at the Peterborough Hospital Pharmacy. There is a serious shortage of staff, and the delays are unacceptable. I waited over 5 hours for a simple prescription, only to find out there were 493 prescriptions already backed up with no clear system or time frame given to anyone. Unfortunately I had to experience the lack of patient care at A&E last night. The checking in and triage were fantastic hence the 1 star but after that it was a downhill experience. I was kept waiting all night sat in an uncomfortable chair only to receive the bare minimum care (and I use that word loosely). I left in a worse condition than when I started and am no further forward with my health concern. I was informed I couldn’t receive lunch as I’d only just arrived. I’ll call them pick‑pockets—they only care about money; they don’t care if a person lives or dies. They schedule appointments a year apart, and the doctor sits there watching the clock, waiting for the ten‑minute mark so he can tell the patient, ‘Your time is up, you can go.’ They gave me the wrong medicine and ruined my life, and they won’t even admit it. They think they’re the last doctors in the world. But the problem is that we pay taxes here and we’re stuck with these fees. They’re absolutely disgraceful Doctors.

Not only was my son born 8 weeks early and given the best possible care from the angels in the NICU, but today at 6 years old he had a blood test and the HCAs were so incredibly kind that he didn't even realise when the test had been done. They also gave him not only a sticker but a toy as well and were just so kind to him the whole process. Lorna was one of their names but I didn't catch the name of the other one. Truly angels walking on earth ❤️

I recently attended A&E and I believe this rating is reasonable however the staff are overworked and the management are near to useless. Peterborough City Hospital goes from one extreme to the next, however it all boils down to the team you get on the day! I was admitted to the ward and the poor staff that transferred me was sent from ward to ward because the management didn’t have a clue what they were doing and just barked orders at 3 in the morning!!!!
