I have problems with both of my knees. I had a failed knee replacement on my left knee,, by another doctor in 2021. After 3 attempts to fix it I was told there was nothing further that could be done. I use a cane but the knee still buckles and I have frequent falls. I went to see Dr Callander about my right knee and he agreed that that I need a knee replacement for that knee. But he was also concerned about my left knee and suggested that i see a Sports Medicine specialist in his office and they would try to find a solution ... read more

My recent experience with a knee replacement was really outstanding. I went into the surgery with complete confidence in Dr Peter Callander as my surgeon. I was well informed and educated on all aspects of the surgery ahead of time. I had a partial knee replacement done in July and then another partial replacement done in December on my other knee. Both knees are doing great. I would recommend Dr. Callendar to anybody I made about a 4 Hour Dr. to see this doctor and I am sure glad that I did not stay in my hometown of Redding And traveled instead. Everyone was very helpful from the office staff to the surgeons helper all the way up to the surgery center, and all the nurses everyone did a great job
