I use to like him, but. ...last time I went to him he was nasty and rude. Now, because their group has a monopoly on gasto Dr's in Palm Beach County, I tried calling most other gastro's in the county and was told because I have seen him no other Dr will see me. Plus their out patient center is awful. Like being in a factory, treated like just another money making number for them! The worst experience I've ever had.

I am sorry to hear you were disappointed. Your comment was 17 months after your last vist. At that time we had a long conversation about your issues and were not interested in pursuing a further evaluation. Perhaps you interpreted that as "nasty and rude" . Unfortunately not all problems are amenable to quick fixes As for the issue of a "monopoly" We are but a small minority of the GIs around here. As for waiting time, you were seen ahead of schedule, rather than the 45 minutes you noted!
Awful - didn't check my chart when in hospital. Told me I needed surgery when I didn't. Went to his office for follow up and the staff was rude and demanded money before allowing me to see a doctor. I would never go to this doctor again - he left me feeling very uncomfortable that he wasn't even up to speed on my condition and his office staff is rude and obnoxious.

I Have received very poor attention to my issue. He sent me to the hospital after a night of vomiting and he never showed up to visit or to keep me posted as to what was happening to me. His associates did visit but did not have any info. I finally needed surgery for bowel obstruction for which he never showed up. Never heard from him after my 3 1/2 week stay in hospital. Poor bedside manner, total disinterest. I had just started to see Dr. Salomon, I had 2 or 3 office visits

I am in a group of 6 physicians covering two hospitals. Unfortunately I can't be all places at all times.We rotate hospital call to allow for continuity of care. Therefore there are times when patients will be seen by my partners. Please note that the recommendation to send you to the hospital was the correct action as you had a bowel obstruction which was correctly diagnosed and treated. I am glad you received the proper care
Dr. Salomon is an excellent doctor. Very intelligent and thorough. He is a veritable GI detective.I would highly recommend him.
