RecommendedI’m not sure which is better. Peter’s sarcasm and friendliness or the sesame chicken. Can’t go wrong either way. Just order the sesame chicken already.
I turned down two other jobs to work at Peter's for $15 an hour. After 3 days of Expo I was called and told that a former employee was coming back, and to pick up my check that Friday. When I arrived, Peter not only tried to short me on my hours (after insisting I keep track of them), but then only paid me a MINIMUM WAGE of $10.20 an hour. When I pointed out this was not the agreement, he yelled "IT DOESNT MATTER" three times before giving me a check for a measly $105.00. Norah had one bad experience and now is bitter. I have lived close for twenty five years and have ordered over all of those years. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. People should know not to order last minute and then expect a credit a few days later. Most places I know will usually give credit for same day or (rarely) next day complaints on a mistake. Yikes.....owner was cussing out his staff as well as his customers. Food was marginal at best!
I love Peter's Cafe - the food is delicious and the owner is an amazing, authentic human being. I have been a customer since my parents introduced me to Peter's when I was a kid, and I will continue to support this great local business until the end of time.
My kids and I loved our time eating in the small dining area! Peter, aka Tony, was most welcoming!
