Dr Nassar was referred to me after I went to the ER desperate for answers on why I was so tired and kept falling asleep. I had a sleep study done 3 years ago with a very dismissive Dr. so I was hesitant on doing another night study and MSLT. As it would break me not getting answers again. I was issued an at home sleep study kit. I was told results within 7-10 days. I was called in a week and a VM was left to call back. I tried twice. I guess they don't care!
If you have narcolepsy, Dr. Nassar should be your only choice in the Jacksonville area. I tried many others. He's knowledgeable, personable, and willing to work with me even though I don't respond well to the typical medications.
My mother went for a sleep study and her insurance was not activated yet and his attitude towards her was unacceptable. He was very short with his communication and answers. Dr. Nassar didn’t want to perform her sleep study in office due to her not having insurance, he sent her home to do it. He has no bedside manners and I wouldn’t recommend. My mother did not have a good experience.
