I saw Dr. Leavitt in PC a few weeks ago when I was feeling very ill. I found him to be very kind and compassionate. He spent more than enough time with me and did all he could to make me more comfortable. I would recommend him to family and friends and I disagree with reviews saying he has a poor bedside manner. KM
Horrible bedside manner. Doesn’t listen. Makes you feel like you are nothing to him. Diagnosed me with a hypothyroid disease after I had gained 20 pounds. Then told me to “put down the cookie!” I have always had a close relationship with my doctors. Not him. Horrible doctor!
He was extremely rude. Would not listen to anything I said. Was extremely rude to a family member that went with me. He has horrible bedside manner and made me cry. I would not go to him if my life depended on it.
My wife saw Dr Leavitt today and his bedside manner was atrocious. He was unkind, unprofessional and aloof. When a person is sick, they would like some modicum of "care" when they see a physician. Although Peter isn't our primary physician, he should still treat a patient with respect.
