Did not perform surgery on me and said all was good and all was not good. Moved to another state and had to have most of my colon removed and my right appendix removed also. I advise you to go to another state and get treatment. He is no good, period!!
Please go to any other doctor not Dr. Kobas!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN!!! Dr. Kobes treated me for Colitis after I had my colon removed- you can't have Colitis if you don't have a Colon! I went through about 2 years of the same scenario-I would have symptoms then he would perform a colonoscopy and say I had "Pouchitis." Then he would prescribe the same drugs he had prescribed in the past. As time went on he spent less time with me and became more rude when he did. I finally got a referral to another doctor who diagnosed me with Crohn's.

Dr Kobes took the time to sit down and talk to both me and my husband and answer all the questions we had. The nurse was friendly and efficient. The office staff was helpful and the wait times were minimal. I actually walked out of the office today and said to my husband who ageeed, well, that was a pleasant change. Unfortunately, our encounters with medical staff over the past couple of months have not been as good as this one. Thank you Dr Kobes and Gastro Associates!
By far the best Dr. I have ever came in contact with. Friendly,and truly cares about you.
Dr. Kobes was so caring and helpful! I feel that most doctors these days just try to do as little as they can to get patients out of the door but Dr. Kobes really cared to get me well again! I would recommend him to anyone.
