The food at Caddy's Parkside Grill inside the lodge was mediocre at best. Both my husband and my food was a mixture of too hot to eat in some areas and cold to the touch in others. We went for "brunch" on a Sunday and the only thing it had going for it was the price not being insanely expensive. I have never had such terrible coffee! It was the color of tea, with a hint of coffee smell and the taste of nothing. Avoid this place if you can! The park however is beautiful.
Had a room over looking the river, so each morning and evening, the grandchildren were able to watch the animals going back to forest or coming out. It was GREAT...plus everything else you can do there!
Had Sunday brunch with friends, food was good and there was a good selection. Service was very good and very friendly. A little costly but we were willing to pay extra for the beauty and atmosphere.
Restaurant permanently closed. Vendor walked out and may take a long time to find another. On weekend they offer a poor excuse for a continental breakfast for $5. So sad as this restaurant was one of the jewels of this facility. Must drive at least 3 miles to find food.
Went to the brunch on Sunday. It was terrible. All food was prepackaged and heated up. Roast was like a brick. Won't go there to eat again. It is too bad because it is a beautiful location and was really a great place to go. Maybe they will read this and improve.
