Trying to find his office in Brea is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. There are no address numbers or medical signs on the building. I had ectropian which he said would require surgery. He also said he needed to do the other eye because it was going to happen to it too. Due to the incompetence of his staff there was great difficulty trying to set up an appointment for the surgery, which I am now truly grateful for. The ectropian healed on its own and the other eye is still just fine.

Continues to provide excellent care
Dr. Peter Joson is a great doctor with a great staff. Dr. Joson takes time to listen and explain the needed procedure. Dr. Joson staff are awesome as well. I had a cataract surgery with Dr. Joson and my eye became 20/20 the next day. I will recommend Dr. Joson to all my friends and family.
I was denied service because I did not wear a mask into the office. Today, at the Tayani Institute, 653 Camio De Los Mares, Suite 103, in San Clemente, CA, I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment and was greeted by a very RUDE office assistant/manager. She didn't greet me by saying "welcome to Tayani Institute", but my welcome was, “do you have a mask?” I said, no I do not. She said, "There's a sign on the door! Can't you read Sir?" I said if I need one can you please provide me with one. She said, “Yes, for $2.00”. Th... read more

I saw Dr Ramin Tayani for upper lid surgery but he advised me to do eye muscle surgery too. I trusted him but end up with cross eyes and double vision. He admitted that he did something at surgery but he will be able to fix it. Unfortunately he made my eyes worse even after the surgery. After the surgery I went to see him but he didn’t show up and he didn’t care at about my situation that he put me through. Im only 57 years old and never had eye problems. Then I heard he had done this to other patients and they all ended up ... read more

I was on the table, prepared for a minor procedure before I had even met him. He did not greet me by name, he did not introduce himself by name. "I'm the doctor", he said. He did not perform the procedure that was previously agreed upon with his assistant ophthalmologist. Throughout the operation he talked over me with his assistants about staff issues. The whole atmosphere felt more like an enterprise not medical care.
