The most dedicated, thorough, and detailed doctor anywhere around! I am so thankful to have had Dr. Apel as my surgeon! He did not rush things; and he totally turned around two bad surgeries that I had with other doctors, previous to this, by precisely removing another large lipoma in the same area that had all the nerves wrapped around it. His dedication really turned things around! Thank you for being such a dedicated and caring doctor that does not rush things, while doing what ever is necessary, to bring about the very b... read more

The wait time was ridiculous. Arrived at 2:00 for a 2:30 appt, rough back to a room at 3:30 and was not seen by the Dr until almost 5pm. Dry Poor planning and scheduling.

Broke wrist bone fixed excellently by Dr Seamon then still had problems. Dr Apel found tendon injured. First attempt, was very kind and very knowledgeable. Injury failed to heal correctly, Dr Apel very positive about 2nd surgery.

Fox, thank you for taking the time to provide us with a review of your experience!
Referred to this doctor for my finger surgery. Completely botched the work and then blamed me for not doing physical therapy right. Got my finger re worked on by a real hand surgeon and he was shocked at how bad Dr. Apel cuts and work were on my finger. Lost full motion and thank god for the second surgeon. Word of advice, steer clear of this guy. Have terrible arthritis and limited use.
My grandson cut the tip of his finger off the ER referred us to Dr. Apel. With it being a holiday there were no open appointments. After he was called he left the hospital from a day of surgeries to come to the office to see him. Most Dr would not go above and beyond like that for a new pt. Thanks for being a wonderful dr
I was sent to Dr Peter Apel by my spine Dr to see if numbness in my hands was coming from problems in my neck or some other issue. Dr Apel examined me done some xrays & then sent me to neurologist to check the nerves. After getting test results and some discussion he proceeded with surgery on my left hand.. its been little over a year and hand is doing great. Now time to start discussing doing the right hand..
Dr Apel came in at 10 o’clock on a Friday night from home to do surgery on my son. He was patient and kind explained everything that he was going to do his bedside manner was second to none . After the surgery he sat with me in the pediatric waiting room for over 30 minutes (after midnight) to explain all the follow up.
Made problem worse and would not return my call.
