I'm a Veteran and due to the office not billing the VA correctly, I'm now being threatened with collections by the physician's office. This is in spite of the fact they have a contract with the VA saying they cannot bill me. When they sent out the letter saying they were closing and blaming it on slow payments, no wonder. The billing department was incompetent.

Care was good but the billing department is horrible. Received a bill for my husband a few days before the office was to be closed permenately. Tried contacting them via phone and email messages before office closed but never heard anything back. Bill was for a missed appointment due to my husband being in the Emergence Room the same day. I had lab tests done at Tuality Physicians (Dr. Hoffman’s office in November. I was told that the practice would be closing and I had to find a new doctor but to go ahead with the lab tests and they could be transferred. I never got the results so I called and never got a call back, yet I received a bill. It is very irresponsible and unprofessional, as was his letter to his patients explaining that he’s closing the practice due to patients and insurance companies not paying.
