I had a procedure done by Dr. Mavrelis and I would recommend him 100%. He is very understanding and puts you at ease at a time when you are so nervous about having the procedure. Thank you Dr. Mavrelis!

I was scared to death to see Dr. Mavrelis, but he put me right at ease. I was having trouble swallowing. He wanted to do an endoscopy which terrified me. I saw him on a Friday and he scheduled it for the next day. I said, “You work on Saturdays? “. He said, “ I’m on call. What else do I have to do?” I had the endoscopy the next morning. He saw I had and eroded esophagus and widened it during the procedure. It was quick and painless and I had no need to worry. Dr. M is easy to talk to.

If you want someone to mask your issues then to see this doctor.So sad how doctors don't try to find the underlying issue.I have a hiatal hernia and gallbladder stones.They gave me meds for a whole year and I told them they weren't working.They insisted i keep taking them.I continued to get sicker and sicker now I can't even drink water.I called today to let them know and they say oh it's your gallbladder you need to find a surgeon and have it removed.All this time they said it was the hernia!

I am sure Dr. Mavrelis is a competent physician and surgeon. However either due to their business model, pressure from the insurance companies, or other factors; my overall experience was one that did not leave me with a feeling of confidence in the procedure performed. Neither were my questions answered. I was given the bare minimum of time. Their center operates more like a factory assembly line, where you are just another part being fed through the conveyor. And then send out those bills
