My mom was taken to the ER after falling and breaking her hip and was assigned this surgeon. She told him about some previous issues related to scoliosis and polio as a baby that made one of her legs like slightly, very, very slightly shorter than the other. My mom told him this and to be careful that he did not aggravate that. He ignored this and she came out with one leg SIGNIFICANTLY longer than the other. She had a terrible limp and asked him what she should do. He told her to get a lift in her shoe. Not long after she f... read more

Bad femur surgery. Doctor never used wire to hold bone fragments together. When asked he said muscles should hold fragments together but they didn’t and had to have a total replacement of rod and wire bone fragments together. It was.obvious from mri there was a non-union yet and wasn’t honest or hoping for a miracle.

He put a rod in my femur and within months had to have it removed and a total redo by a more skilled surgeon.

Dr. Larcom did a thorough job examining my knee and evaluating my MRI. He called me right away with an in-depth explanation of what was going on and what my options were. Did not push me towards surgery at all which some doctors will do. Really appreciated his expertise and professionalism.

Was referred through IHC and wish we would have done research of reviews of this office. Medicare and Medicaid patient charged hundreds of dollars for appts and total knee replacement surgery. Now denied follow up appt from an unfortunate injury to that same knee that Dr. Larcom performed the surgery on. Give a C- to the doctor and a failing grade to the office. No message returned from the office when asked if the the doctor could see the patient for follow up care. When speaking with a nurse for the admitting facility abou... read more

Don't use this surgeon. He is one of the worst. After having fractured my hip and having hip replacement surgery from him I started having complications after the 8th week with psoas tendinitis and then piriformis syndrome because of things he did incorrectly in my surgery. When I went to talk with him about my problems he said you'll be feeling better in 3 more months and come back when you are having a major problem going on. It's been 18 weeks since my surgery and I am feeling worse now than I did after the surgery. I wou... read more

Did a hip replacement surgery in 2017 and cut or damaged my sciatic nerve which has resulted in severe permanent nerve pain and drop foot. He also left my leg significantly longer. He washed his hands of me and referred me to a pain specialist.

My dad broke his hip and was taken to the emergency room. Unfortunately it was Dr. Larcom who operated on him. We NEVER spoke to him after surgery. He sent his PA in a few times. My dad was in the hospital for 7 days as he developed an infection, still didn’t see Dr Larcom. About 3 months later my dad finally sees the great Dr. Larcom who then chuckles and says he will have to operate again. HE IS A JOKE!! DO NOT SEE THIS “Doctor”!!

Dr. Larcom has operated three different times on me. A knee replacement, a hip replacement, and the quads on my right leg. He has done an excellent job, I highly recommend him, I would trust my life to him.
