We met Dr. Merckle when he came in to help repair and set my son's broken leg. He displayed a level of caring and fatherly love while treating/speaking with my son. He took the time to make sure all of our questions and concerns were addressed. They don't make doctors like this anymore. The follow up office visits were met with equally caring and loving staff. I truly am grateful for the care and concern we received from Dr. Merckle and his staff. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Merkle's knowledge and caring is unsurpassed. He and his staff are phenomenal! I have had 3 surgeries performed by Dr. Merkle. Every step, of the way, he and his staff/medical team explained and expedited the procedure. I have had multiple occasions, to visit Dr. Merkle and I highly recommend him.

Where to start with Dr. Peter Merkel, well first off let me tell you that if you like personal one one with patient to doctor communication. This is not the place. As far as wait time, make sure to have about 2 hours for an appointment. The first hour and half to will just be sitting there waiting. Aggravating, right? This isn’t the worst part the best is yet to come. Just image waiting this long, for the doctor to be on his one phone the whole entire visit. Answering messages, talking phone calls. I have found Peter Merkle to be an expert in his field! He also had such thoughtfulness and detailedness in the way he was with me. I have recommended him to a friend in Atlanta, who is making plans to fly down to use him. Thank you for all that you have done for me Dr Merkle.

I have the highest regard for Doctor Merkle and his staff, whom which go out their way when I need help atbthe pharmacy or making appointments. I was going for therapy on my neck, back, and knee, he was recommended by my attorney in an accident case. He is and has always been more than accomadating, he is 100% proffesional, has a sense of humor helps to relax the patient. The office staff is polite and very helpful. After Merkle made an inappropriate comment to my daughter, we went to another orthopedist, who asked why we were changing doctors. We explained that Merkle had made unprofessional comments, and the new doctor said, "Unfortunately, that seems to be a problem with him."

I have the highest regard for Doctor Merkle-he was called in to repair a very bad broken ankle on my right foot .He is more than qualified as a Orthopedic surgeon. His sense of humor helps to relax the patient .The office staff is polite and very helpful. Appointments are pretty punctual.
