I’m so incredibly thankful for Dr Derman, Claire and all the staff at Texas Back. I had a herniated disc at L4/5 that came on suddenly late July that quickly led to right leg pain, weakness and numbness. I had been suffering from a very bad case of Sciatica for a year. I tried injections, 2 rounds of steroids, PT and a chiropractor that specializes in spinal decompression and nothing worked. The first surgeon wanted to fuse 4 vertebrae. It was a 4.5 hour procedure, 2 nights in the hospital and 2 weeks on my back. Dr Derman had a completely different approach.
