Disgusting wait times every time. 30 mins after appointment before being put in a room. Told it’ll be a few minutes once in room, 20 mins go by without a word. Unfortunately I had to leave without addressing the pain that brought me in. Instead of offering to reschedule, the staff told me to have a great day after I explained that I had to leave. Unbelievable experience.
I saw Dr. Chioros on 6/7/24. He had a great bedside manner and asked me a lot of questions. I really liked him as a doctor and felt really comfortable. He said he would write me a prescription for a pain medication, and custom orthotics. He gave me a referral to get a night splint, and a list of clinics that could fit me for the night splint. He ordered the pain medication on my behalf from CVS Caremark and it was delivered very quickly. I went to one of the offices on his list to get fitted for the night splint, but was sen... read more
I went it and he “referred” me to get orthotics for sesamoiditis in my foot.. I am unable to get the orthotics made because I never received an actual referral and I have HMO. Neither him or his office staff will respond to my messages on NorthShore connect and I am not sure what else to do at this point. This has been a complete disaster.
Dr. Chioros is very kind. I respect his quiet wisdom and reassuring demeanor. I was concerned that my symptoms and condition were without hope for improvement. My goal is to remain very strong and mobile in care of my grandson, my family. Dr. Chioros provided a very detailed report of my current diagnosis. I love all the terms and language he included.
