My niece, a college student, is experiencing severe eczema flare-ups and began looking into a more holistic approach. After a LOT of research, I found Dr Lio and really liked his Integrative Medicine philosophy. She was able to get an appointment quickly, hence the 2 stars, however her visit was very disappointing. I’ve been to four different dermatologists trying to figure out how to deal with my eczema. Dr. Lio is the only doctor who made a difference! He’s not only amazing at what he does (I went from around 70-90% of my body being covered in eczema to around 10-20%), but as someone who is terrified of doctors, he has been so kind, warm, and comforting. I recommend him to everyone I know and will probably for the rest of my life.
One of the few western medicine experts who provides thoughtful, evidence based, compassionate advice for excema sufferers. Not a grifter or looking to sell you something, just wanting to help. Thanks for everything you do Dr!
