I need to WARN you about their "Main" Trainer! – I have to agree with the other revue about Petco, San Rafael's "head" Trainer. She seems extremely overworked! Or just doesn't like her job! The main issue I had with her was her lack of memory. But, what made it worst was her complete meanness when she was gently reminded. I have memory loss at times too, but I will NEVER blame the other for it! She could be "sickly" sweet one second and down right mean the next. Dog Trainer Barbara Fuegner Needs Anger Management – Witnessed trainer Barbara Fuegner being extremely rude to customers on three separate visits occasions. She kisses up to people in her class, but is very rude to others including some of her fellow employees. A manager at another Petco said Barbara was even nasty to her. Suggest their other trainer, or going to Daralyn at the Petco in Novato.

Great pet stop – Great service and super friendly. Love going to this petco! They have a good selection of snacks, food, and toys. Not too pricey either.
Bad Grooming!!! – We took my dog here for a standard grooming. He still had shampoo in his hair when we picked him up and they forgot to clip his nails!!! We brought him back in for them to wash it out but didn't have them clip the nails because the tech smelled like skunk plant (you know what I mean) and I was afraid he might hurt my dog!
