horrible experience...my poor yorkie looks like a hairless rat...very disorganized groomer... not at all worth the price..

Horrible experience today at the south Elgin Petco! The employees are EXTREMELY RUDE making customers uncomfortable and on top of their odd inappropriate behavior the staff wouldn’t honor my rewards program coupon that was ready to use. Petco definitely lost my business completely today ...
I had the worst experience at Petco. Dead fish everywhere in their small little tanks was denied to buy a single gold fish for my 10 gallon tank because it’s “too small” for a gold fish. Was also denied service to buy a single snail because it’s too small for a snail and a single gold fish. Disgusting. Not to mention they have smaller tanks which they hold over 30 goldfish in plus the ten dead fish floating around on top.
This place is no place for animals. After my experience today I am convinced they enjoy seeing the animals in agony. I asked to see a cat I was interested in adopting, and was denied service because the lady didn’t think I was serious about buying him. Every other pet store I’ve been to i was allowed to play with the animals. Isn’t that the point of a pet store? Wouldn’t you naturally want the cat to get some air and roam around for a little after being confined to an area that’s almost as big as the animal? Who knows how lo... read more
i always love the Petco staff.. so helpful.. they recommend pet needs and even lets you know if there is any sale or discounts. i was hesitant on bringing my Sansa to a groomer since i have not much luck at the past. I scheduled yesterday with Tanya. she was so helpful. When i came back today to bring her, even i was 5 minutes late staff was still pleasant and took us immediately. i came back to pick her up and saw Tanya grooming her. and that pic is the final cuteness..
Love the groomers here! My dog gets excited when we pull into the parking lot!
