Just adopted a pug from Texas. Had him brought to his forever home in Alton, IL.. Because the temperature is a little cooler the first stop was to our local Petco for his first ever coat. The crew was incredible to him. Especially when they heard his story. Jerome loved all the attention.

Took my Pyrenees there to get groomed last week. Dez did and absolutely amazing job with my big boy. A family emergency had distracted me from my normal grooming that I do at home and my boy had gotten severely matted on his back legs and Dez was still able to make him look great. When I came to pick him up, the manager, Eric, was the one that cashed me out and he was also brilliant! Making sure that we had everything that we needed! groomers were amazing! My dog is 8 and this was his first time being groomed by anyone besides me.. they were so great with him and he feels so much better ! I knew when he called my dog a pupper he was his new groomer 💕💕💕Shadow doesn't like too many folks, but y'all are his people 😆

I ran into Petco on Tuesday to get some dog food and a new dog tag. While in there an employee was cleaning the Guinea Pig cages, I heard her sweetly say “there you go, all better” it just warmed my heart knowing the employees care for these animals. Kudos Alton Petco!

I went there with my son to pick a fish out for my tank i had an empty pretty tank no fish in it. So i went there and the girl workin yesturday told me i can not let u purchase this fish u need a bigger tank. How does she even knoe what size i have jist cuz i was buyin a new lid for my 10 gallon doesnt mean i only had a ten gallon. I felt very umcomfortable. I felt awkward. I have never been told i cant let u purchase this fish took them forever to even help me. ���

Someone left their dog in the car today with it being 80 degrees and sunny. After 10 minutes it would be 100 degrees in the car. I went in to ask for the manager. The customer was getting a tag made at the machine, so the manager promised to make sure he left soon and to keep an eye on him. We both walked out to the truck to make sure that the dog was not in distress. He was panting a little but no signs of heat illness at the time. I bought a hamster for my boys for Christmas. I asked which one was the friendliest. An employee went and picked up a beautiful Lil guy that he said had been there for a while and was used to being held. That hamster is now named Jack and is the sweetest thing ever. Never once has bitten anyone . Thanks for taking the time to help me out. It's much appreciated and Jack is very much loved lol.
