Everyone who has lost a loved one to cancer knows the heartbreak and impact it can have on one’s life. Pet cancer is no different. To celebrate Scout’s survival story and to support WeatherTech’s mission, the Petco Foundation is donating $250,000 to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to help further fund pet cancer research.
This story hits home for all of us at Petco as our pets are family and often the center of our world. Cancer is the leading cause of death in pets older than 10, and we applaud WeatherTech's effort to bring awareness to this disease.
The fires are terrible and so much suffering and loss of animal life. But the Australian government has some cruel policies and support the cattlemen and overgrazing and use of water for their cattle to the detriment of wildlife.
