Approximately 1 in 4 dogs will develop cancer at some stage in their life. Our CEO, Ron Coughlin, and his dog, Yummy, fought & overcame this battle together. We’re inspired by WeatherTech’s efforts to share Scout’s pet cancer story and to encourage all of you to join us in the fight against pet cancer. Please donate to fund research to fight this terrible disease so that our pets can live healthier and longer lives: https://www.weathertech.com/donate/petsmakeadifference/
Today is the LAST DAY to donate and help save animal lives! Your contribution will go further because for every dollar donated, Petco & our partners (Blue Buffalo, Instinct, Merrick Pet Care, Natural Balance Pet Foods & Nutrish) will collectively match the donation up to $125,000. Thank you to those who have contributed to our campaign! Any amount is a small step that can lead to big changes. Share and help us spread the word!
Everyone who has lost a loved one to cancer knows the heartbreak and impact it can have on one’s life. Pet cancer is no different. To celebrate Scout’s survival story and to support WeatherTech’s mission, the Petco Foundation is donating $250,000 to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to help further fund pet cancer research.
This story hits home for all of us at Petco as our pets are family and often the center of our world. Cancer is the leading cause of death in pets older than 10, and we applaud WeatherTech's effort to bring awareness to this disease.
The fires are terrible and so much suffering and loss of animal life. But the Australian government has some cruel policies and support the cattlemen and overgrazing and use of water for their cattle to the detriment of wildlife. Huge numbers of camels were slaughtered and now Salt Water River horses are in danger of being unable to reach water by installing a fence which will mean death. Check out https://www.idausa.org/🤨
