Service awful .I arrived at the store 15 minutes early to have the dogs nails trimmed and 10 minutes into the wait a woman barges in with 2 dogs right past everyone else who is waiting. I open the door and was abruptly told to wait. I asked if the lady had an appointment and she stated No. I asked that she leaves and waits her turn. I was told that she was inside first. Sorry but that is just not right.
The manager Ken is awful and he doesn’t tell the truth. He doesn’t take complaints seriously and tries to justify why the issue happened when it flat out shouldn’t have happened. That store let a great trainer get away. Richard was awesome. Absolutely amazing. And when he left. So did we. We are taking our dog elsewhere.
Your store manager, Ken has horrible customer service. He should be replaced.

Hi just wanted to say that I disappointed in the service I received at your Petco location in Fredericksburg Va I took my dog to get groomed asked for the basic and was charged 62.00 for some nail buffing and other stuff I did NOT ask for. I had a 25% off coupon I was planning on using towards the 45.00 fee and then was shocked when I went to pick my dog up and what I was charged. The dog trainer is so good with dogs and friendly. Vetco came. Our dogs received flee medicine. The Vet was awesome; however the vet tech was bossing the Vet around, which was unprofessional given the Vet is the one that went to school for 4 years of undergrad plus 4 additional years. Other than that all of the staff were very nice. Especially the Vet!
RecommendedWe highly recommend the training and puppy play time. Richard knows dogs, loves what he is doing, and the dogs love him. Our lab mix has learned lots and had so much fun thanks to Richard and Petco.
I go here to get my Bernese Mountain Dog groomed. Ask for Maggie! She’s so awesome. Sampson is 160lbs and difficult. But Maggie is excellent with him. So much so that when we moved to Springfield I still drive all the way back to Fredricksburg to have Maggie groom him. — with Mark S. Amato.
