Edit (Aug 26): Just left the store, spoke to the manager and fish expert. Very helpful, decided not to set up a new tank. But will be back if we change our minds. Even though there were too many variables to tell they still worked with us it was refreshing. We've been shopping there for years so thank you for the quick customer service. Bought live plants and a pleco for my betta, everything was fine for a couple of weeks then very suddenly both fish died. stopped in to this petco looking for a betta,..the worst condition I've ever seen! looked like they put them on a shelf and forgot about them, dead, sick and dying. I will never stop in to this location again. Felt so bad for these poor fish, You really expect people to spend up to $20 a fish with obvious ammonia burns and fin rot? very sad
