After Hurricane Matthew went through our area, Petco still had the products I need for my animals. Witnessed the employee at the register answer questions from someone that was unhappy about a product that was unavailable due to UPS and FedEx not running in the area after the hurricane. Employee was polite and handled the customer very well.
I'd rate lower but Wayne works hard to try and make this store worth wild. Sometimes the saltwater stock is worth price matching and taking home and they aren't always sick. It's better than most PetCo locations can offer. The rest of the employees leave something to be desired but that's big box retail.
Went to purchase fish today and was totally ignored. Stood there for 15 minutes and was never even acknowledged even though I went and stood beside the salesperson just for him to look at me several times WITHOUT acknowledging me. Just when I thought help was coming, I was told by a second employee that he was on break. I took my money to Petsmart and was very pleased with them. I was there to spend a lot of money on fish to fill a 50 gallon aquarium. Keep losing potential regulars and your doors won't be open much longer!
