We received dirty looks as soon as we walked in. The groomers were already talking under their breath to one other and I heard one of the girl's say to another, "I don't have a pitbull on my schedule." RecommendedWe used to take our dog to the Petco in Hamden for grooming, just out of convenience. They always got the job done, but I was never really impressed with the service or attitude of the staff. I tried the Milford location and will never go back to Hamden- it is well worth the 20 min extra drive. All the groomers, especially Cat, are super friendly and truly care about what they do. We added a live plant and piece of driftwood to our fish tank and it Killed ALL of our fish! The day after we added them we found every single fish dead in our tank. I just spoke with the manager and she blamed me! I told her I wasn’t interested in a refund just wanted to make sure it didn’t happen to anyone else. She accused me of keeping my fish in a “bowl” and told me that each fish needed 10 gallons of water. We have a five gallon tank with a filter.
