Poor animals needs to be shut down! If i could give this place 0 stars i would. This place is horrible. The animals are so badly taken care of it makes me sick. We rescued a cat from there today. When i came in and saw the cats they had two persian kittens. They had 4 cats sharing one litter box. I asked to see one of them and when he brought it out i could not even hold it. it smelled like it had bathed in poop and pee for months! I had to place him on the chair. Terrible condition of animals I wish I could give it a negative score. Buying a puppy from Pet Kingdom was one of the biggest regrets I have ever had. As you can see from the other reviews, the store is nice, fun even, but none of these people purchased a pet while they were there. They just enjoy the scenery. It is catchy and helps distract you from the terrible condition of most of the animals, specifically the puppies. Don't ever do get in with the Lemurs! Went with my husband and son to do the Lemur experience. $10 for 10 minutes to sit inside this small cage with 2 Lemurs. The girl up front told us that they might stick their tongue up our nose so make sure to cover your face if they try to do so and that they have a potential to bite but it feels like puppy teeth. Over-aggre My wife and I used to enjoy going into pet kingdom, where we would gawk at the unusual animal varieties and purchase the occasional thousand dollar puppy. My wife and I stopped in on a Monday afternoon with hopes to purchase a 5 month old pug we had heard about. We asked one of the employees for some information about the pug. Pet Kingdom is not a good place to buy an animal. I bought a Maltese, Lily, from Pet Kingdom 6 years ago. She had many health problems I came to find out. She passed away last week and because she had so many problems, the vet couldn't pin point the exact cause. She was most likely inbreed. She had asthma, an enlarged heart, stones in her gall bladder, just to mention a few. She was my baby and I am heartbroken. I LOVE THIS PET STORE! Its just like being in an air conditioned ZOO! They have Tons of puppies all the time (like 30!) kittens, reptiles, ferrets and my favorite (and daughters) MONKEYS!!! i think they have about 5! They have like 100 or more Birds! Lots of big ones, alot of them are nice and friendly so you know the staff must spend lots of time with them. Enjoy your pet!!! I enjoy every visit to pet kingdom and visit as often as possible, the staff there is very friendly and caring. Pet kingdom makes sure that if you purchase a pet that you and your new pet become family, not just a show piece for a price. We have a complete family of pets from there and I wouldnt trade any of them for the world, if asked questions staff will help you in any possible way. Even if this means you dont take the pet. Pet Kingdom is NOT!! I bought a bird from Pet Kingdom 2 years ago, and the only reason I went back was for the free wing and nail clipping. When I bought the bird, I was told that it was a courtesy option that was offered for buying my over priced bird.there. Curtesy my a**! I usually got a look from some of the staff like I'm impossing a major inconvenience on them. If they don't want to trim for free, then don't offer that service.
