Fantastic pet store, we like to shop small and shop local. Family owned.
My kids love visiting this store and see all their puppies and small reptiles.
Our precious baby Yorkie is from here and she is the best thing ever! A friend recommended me here because they have 3 dogs from here so I knew it was someone i could trust. She is healthy, active and was so easy to potty train.
First timer and future repeat customer here. Treated our family very nice, showed us around. Several precious breeds of puppies like French bulldogs, akc English bull dogs, yorkies, etc. They went over the entire process to purchase a pup, no rush, gave us time to think about it.
READ THE REVIEWS... I Iive broad and decide to buy a puppy while in Houston. Armed with the airline requirements for the dog to travel back with me I went to Pet City Houston. Shared all the details with the person helping me so ensured me everything would be in order. The first red flag was she lied about the puppy’s age. I love my baby but the service suck. Family owned store.... Where in the heck is the family when you need help??? Once you give them the money you can't even get assistance. They want you to go to their Vet in order to get a warranty who wants to charge a CRAZY amount. I tried calling them 10x it said pressed 2 If you purchase a pet already. I did... 10x No answer then finally i decided to press 1 if you saw a pet online that you are interested in. So I pressed 1 and they answered right away. Go figure...smh. of course th... read more
Stay away from this place. Run fast as you can to get away from them
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Pet City Houston does not take good care of their animals or their customers. Unlike a reliable and caring breeder, Pet City Houston knowingly sells sick puppies without a second thought given -- resulting in multiple puppy deaths just days after purchase. If you're looking for a healthy pup, you're better off searching for a licensed, independent breeder that can provide proof of the dog's health at the time of adoption (many also guarantee the health of your dog for the first year). This store needs to be shut down. The animals are treated inhumanly. Go look at the size of the cages and if a legitimate veterinarian came in l am sure at least half of the animals are ill.
