I wouldn't waste my time or money on these people. These start out with low prices and then try and sell you extras you don't need. I took my dog in to be spay, and was told they require a Lepto vaccination. Very unnecessary for a house dog, esp a puppy. Their $80 special was going to cost the same as a vet in Trenton, And its a clean office unlike Lincoln Park Pet clinic
Never take your pet to the Pet care clinic in lincoln park, very uncaring,the doctor was taking a skin scraping of my 4 lb dog and sliced her open in two spot one of which bled for 30 min, never trying to help with the bleed just said hold this on it with a napkin then put some cream on the area and it must have burned because she was crying and scrambling.
The ladies who work here are extremely caring and efficient with my dog. I am sorry we moved because I enjoyed bringing my furbaby there. I didn't give 5 stars because I feel their prices are too high but they did take care of my dog. His neutering surgery was extremely overpriced, a fact I found out afterwards. The vet is very meticulous and definitely not a conversationalist. But other than that they are a good clinic.
DO NOT bring your pets here. We brought our cat in for a urinary blockage problem. The doctor went through with his procedures without even getting our approval to do so. He sent us home with our cat with a catheter stitched in and told us that he would be able to control his urine. We had to keep him in the bathroom all night because he definitely could not control anything, got pee all over himself, and was really suffering the whole night until we were able to take him to a new vet the next day. I HAVE 3 ANIMALS. 1 CAT AND 2 DOGS. I HAVE NEVER HAD BETTER CARE OR FRIENDLIER SERVICES WITH EXCEPTIONALLY REASONABLE PRICES ANYWHERE ELSE I HAVE BEEN. THE STAFF MAKES ME FEEL LIKE MY ANIMALS ARE OF THEIR OWN FAMILY. I LOVE THIS CLINIC AND ALL OF THERE STAFF, I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER VET. THERE PRICES ARE SO GOOD!!!! AND THEY TAKE THE TIME OUT TO HELP YOU AND YOUR PET.
