I had an amazing experience staying here. We stayed here for 5 nights and every night the experience was better and better and better! The bagels they served in the morning for breakfast were amazing, the coffee - simply phenomenal. Service was on a whole new level, I asked for a bath towel and instantly it arrived. I will definitely recommend any tourist to stay when they visit NYC.

Our stay at Pestana Park Avenue, which happened to coincide with the UN General Assembly, was an ideally located oasis of calm in an otherwise traffic snarled midtown. Our junior suite was clean, quiet, and spacious, but what truly elevated the experience was the professionalism, curtesy, and helpfulness of every single member of the staff, without exception. From check in to departure (including helping us handle our numerous pieces of luggage), they were wonderful. We will definitely be back!

To start with nothing beats the location. My comfortable room facing the back (at my request), was immune to street sounds but unfortunately at night there was a disturbing, random drilling sound coming from the bathroom ceiling that kept disturbing my sleep. It was not continuous and unpredictable. I did not have the energy to repack and ask for another room so had to put up with it. I wish it had a closet instead of a rack that tightly fitted 4 coat hangers. In September not an issue, but in the winter it can only hold on... read more
