Thank you, David, for providing this wonderful service!! David has identified a snake skin that we found under a bookcase in my husbands office, as a harmless rat snake. We are not at all happy to have an uninvited dweller in our home, but at least we don't have the added worry of wondering if it is poisonous and on the loose. Now, the hunt is on!
I sent a picture of a snake shed to David, not knowing if it was venomous or not. He got right back to me with an ID to put my mind at rest!
