I went to emergency at Smith Falls hospital Sunday evening with a badly injured knee due to a fall. Staff was very kind and considerate. Within 2 hours (an Ontario record!) I received a number of xrays, 15 stitches, was bandaged and sent on my way! Wonderful service. Thank you so much.

Huge shout-out to the ER staff! The lady who checked me in was super kind and friendly, and the triage nurse absolutely stole the show — she went above and beyond and turned what could’ve been a really awful visit into a genuinely great experience. The doctor was fantastic too! Honestly, the whole team deserves credit, but that nurse in triage was next-level.

Do they actually take patients here? Sign says 2 hours. 6 hours later youre starving and trying to decide if waiting is worth it. Theres cans of tomato soup in the vending machine that makes a ton of noise in emerg. I’m convinced they don’t have doctors on staff all day. They just let us pile up and someone shows up at some point. There is no incentive to get patients worked on and out. You check in and… stay? Who is in charge of these places?
