I waited 3 hours after doing a mamogram and an ultrasound for the doctors release. After 2 hrs of waiting (while seeing other patients being released and my stress kept going up) I asked one of the nurses. She said that it will only be another 15 mins. 40 mins later asked again and she said I had to be patient.....almost 3 hours later she asked my surname (I assume she never checked anything the 2 previous times) and told me that I have been released. Had ultrasound guided core biopsy with Dr Thornton and it was a great experience. He was prompt to the appointment and very patient and thorough and in communication and procedure itself. I was scheduled for 1 biopsy but we ended up doing 2 sites after discussion. Even though it would take up more of his time, it didn't felt rushed. Nurse Indy was amazing in assisting and making me feel looked after. Reception ladies were nice and clear as well. Overall great experience for a scary procedure (for me).
I had an MRI done there today. They were running right on time, efficient and all the staff were so lovely. They even asked me what music I would like to listen to - I've had many MRI's and this is the only place where they ask you what music you would like!
Just had a scan, I was in and out the door in half an hour, lovely staff, proficient and professional.
