My husband recently passed away and we used personal touch for their hospice services. This experience losing my husband in itself has been very difficult, now let's add in the extra issues that ive had to experience with the company. Number one, for as much as they claim that they care I've had one follow up call since his passing to check on myself and my three children. Extremely frustrated. I am really trying to be fair and not jump to conclusions BUT if I call and leave a message and they don't return my phone call in a timely manner it just adds to my negative thoughts. If they do NOT return my phone call within a 24 hour time frame then I may just need to confirm my suspicions and take the necessary actions because of their negligence.

Nurses are very friendly and professional. Their management seems to be very subpar. They are supposed to drain Pleurx catheters once a week. They have shown up only sporadically, though they had been providing me the drain kits so I can drain the catheters myself when they do not show up. They are not even doing that now. When I called to ask if they were coming to drain on 7-9-17 I was told "No because we do not have a drain kit". I was told to go to ER if wanted catheters drained. One of the worst office staffs I've worked with. Their hiring policy sucks. Out of the 99 women they sent to me maybe 4 knew and did their job. I wouldn't recommend this company for care of a rat. choose to try them anyway don't believe a word say and if it's for a family member, I'd advise pop up checks on them. Honestly the aids aren't bad because for the most part they were nice people most of them lazy but nice. Everyone in the Norfolk office needs to be fired.
