RecommendedWe have used Pershing Hospital many times and have been pleased with each experience we have encountered. These are from the ER, to Colonoscopies, Mammograms, and Helicopter 🚁 rides. Also, many years ago all three of our children were born there. We as a community should be grateful that we have such a nice facility in our town. When they save lives, it is certainly worth the effort for all of us to support it!!!!!
Horrible hospital. They told me over and over i was fine and when i went to Columbia they did surgery because of an infection i could have died from. now they are taking me to court for not paying them...
terrible ER experience. never even saw a doctor before being discharged. wasn't taken seriously. am still losing sleep because I'm in horrible pain. they put me through the pain of 4 xrays, yet my discharge papers say nothing about it. they were more interested in keeping me from narcotics than fixing the issue. put me on a medication that can cause more issues with my COPD and depression, and pushed me out quickly. worst experience ever.
I had to go to the ER 9/8/2019. I cannot say enough about the staff. From the moment I came in the door, I was treated fantastic. The radiologist, the clerk, the Dr and both of the nurses were so pleasant and professional. Thank you!
Yes, I do highly recommend Pershing Memorial Hospital, should you ever need to go as a patient! I was an employed there, and retired from there, after being in their health system 30 years! I considered it and Marceline Mo Health system my second home! I was always treated with respect from every one, especially the six Surgeons that was employed there!!

I had excellent care today for my colonoscopy at Pershing. Thank you to Dr. Cleaver, the anesthesiologist, nurses and staff for your great care. My entire experience today was much better than I expected given the type of test and I thoroughly appreciated the quality and personable care! Thank you!
