It seemed like a complete rush job. The doctor stormed out into the waiting room and asked "what's this boy here for?" in regards to my son. She seemed very impatient despite us being there 20 minutes early. After the appointment, she VERY briefly explained my son's diagnosis in the waiting room in the presence of other patients. Our ENT told us to get a hard copy of the hearing results for our appointment the next. When we asked for that we were told "that's going to take 20 minutes and I dont have 20 minutes." Audiologist Susan diagnosed my hearing loss via a hearing test, recommended the best prescription hearing aid for the specific frequencies of my hearing loss (these are NOT OTC amplifiers you can buy online or at a big box grocery store- those simply make ALL frequencies louder- that's what I had been using before), programmed the recommended hearing aid within a few minutes while I waited, and I left wearing true prescription hearing aids programmed to my specific hearing loss needs.
