Dr. Perrin was very thorough and answered questions completely. She explained tests and what the results likely meant and did not mean. She was very caring and treated me like a person, not a number and the appointment was not rushed or interrupted. I am very surprised that any patient felt she was dismissive or uncaring. That is the exact opposite of the care I received--perhaps her quiet, professional, and deliberate manner was interpreted as lack of interest?
Dr. Perrin is an amazing listener; she is most helpful and was never dismissive or rushed. In this day and age, where Drs. Have so many patients and such long hours with paperwork afterward, Dr. Perrin is a professional. She is also extremely well educated and has a keen instinct for diagnosis.
Seen in initial eval for unsteady gait, migraines, and syncope. Dr. Perrin listened to my details of complaints and responded re each of them re possible causes, treatment options, need for further followup. Having seen other neurologists over the years, Dr. Perrin is the best by far. Attentive, responsive. Explained exam as she went along. Not rigid or condescending as male neurologists I've seen for care. Happy to have found her. Confident in her care. Last but not least, her front desk staff is delightful and efficient!
I don't think she cares about her patients
Business response:
I am very sorry that you had this experience. I spend a lot of time with my patients during their appointments. I care a lot about establishing a good patient-physician relationship. As a result, I cannot usually answer non-urgent phone calls in the middle of the clinic day. While this might cause frustration, it allows me to pay full attention to my scheduled patients. My staff is able to reach me in case of true emergencies, and we touch base frequently during the day.
My mother has seem Dr. Perrin several times over a year with symptoms that were of concern. Dr. Perrin missed the diagnosis. I accompanied my mother to her last visit and I found Dr. Perrin dismissive and insulting by basically chalking up her symptoms to "old age". I found her attitude toward my mother uncaring and insulting. Thank goodness my mother has now seen a specialist and very quickly he saw clear signs of Parkinson's. She is now taking medication that she could have had over a year ago when she first went to Dr. Pe... read more
Dr. Perrin was very rude. She was not a good listener and did not seem to care.
