This man wrote a report on matters he did not investigate. Went out of his way to ignore facts he didn’t like. Then wrote a report whose effects will haunt our children for decades. And I had to pay mid-six-figures for the pleasure! A lazy, evil, unscrupulous man. He had his agenda and he executed. Positively Dickensian. My poor kids.
I wish less than 1 star was an option. I was hesitant to use him for custody mediation because of his reviews but my lawyer reassured me he was a strong& firm mediator which we needed because my children's father has a history of being abusive & a bully. This was a huge mistake. Not only is he incompetent - my son is Autistic and Perlmutter knew alarming little about ASD though he knew that was my son's diagnosis and readily agreed to take our case. DANGEROUS As a licensed practitioner I do not write this lightly. In my opinion this individual is dangerous, morally and ethically bankrupt and emotionally disturbed. I can not stress this more emphatically, DO NOT ALLOW THIS INDIVIDUAL IN YOUR LIFE OR THE LIVES OF YOUR CHILDREN. The consequences could be disastrous and dire. I am in the process of also initiating a Board Complaint. The public needs to be protected.
Malfeasant, obnoxious, unprofessional. Harassed my kids. Overbilled us. Called me a "selfish bore" to my kids during the evaluation. Needs to lose his license.
Don't let your kids anywhere near him.
