First of all, I waited for hours with my child. Do not understand that. Then they basically told me that they don't do work on kids his age and tried to send me all the way to Mesquite when there are local dentists that take my insurance. Are they getting some kind of kick back? Not at all happy with this place and I would not go. The stuff they said he needed done the other dentist said didn't need done. I think they are just milking insurance and my wallet for all they can.
the dentist at perla dental did very well with my child. i wouldnt get any other dr to see her but dr. chang and his team at perla did a very good job i would recommended him to every one dont listen to the other reviews till you try them out first different people have different way of see thing just go try them out first
Have a couple of problems - Staff has no idea what is going on. I was told my son's procedure would be covered under his CHIPS insurance. 3 months later I get a bill saying I owed nearly $100. When I went and spoke to them, they said they were sorry that the person who told me that it would be covered was new, and did not know what they were talking about, but there was nothing they could do about it. it was a bit hectic and a long w8 on getting in, couple hours at least. once i got back the dentist argued with a manager about a patient the majority of the time. the only thing that was good for me really was that since i dont have insurance and work at a pizza joint ,was that i could pay as i get the work done. it didnt have to be all at once. would have been better if they offered a payment plan but i guess thats asking too much.
The customer service is trouble and the dentist don't know what they are doing. The manager is RUDE. They make you wait for a least 3 hours. Please look some where else it you need a Dentist to go to. The Perla Dental in Lancaster needs to shut down. God Bless you if you decide to not listen.
I took both of my sons to Perla Dental here in Lancaster, texas and the customer service is good but that is the only thing that is good my sons went to them in Oct of 08 and the teeth that they work on will have to be redone and will cost me out of pocket right now my sons teeth is hurting and they will not hold up to their work, if any body is reading this dont take your childen to Perla Dental in lancaster you might have to spend a little more money take them some were that will stand behind their work.
