I hired Perkins Energy to do a blower door test along with a duct leakage test at my 1981 townhouse to see if my systems were running efficiently. Scott found a huge air leakage on one of my returns, a stairwell cavity connected to other wall cavities, where the leakage was so bad it didn't even register on his machine.
