I wanted to say how much I appreciate the Perinatal Center. I had an urgent referral from my OB. Neal was so helpful on the phone with getting my referral processed. Theresa at the reception desk was super kind and managed to fit me in that day. Julissa was a wizard with the ultrasound imaging and measurements. Dr. Waldrop was very helpful and reviewing the findings with me and making recommendations. I so appreciate your team, and I hope they get the recognition and thanks they deserve.
I'm 36 weeks pregnant and must admit, visiting PDC and the aftermath has been one of the worst experiences as a patient. Not only have they failed to upload the ultrasound report to MyChart, but I've had to call them 6 times to even get someone on the phone that is capable of sharing the finalized ultrasound report with me. This is an incredibly routine task that I shouldn't even have to chase down - it makes no sense to me how backwards their administrative systems are. I had an appointment scheduled for 9:00 AM today, but it didn’t start until 9:50 AM. But what really surprised me was that the ultrasound — which was supposed to take about an hour — was over in 5 minutes. I left the appointment feeling confused. I’ve never had such an experience before, and it made me wonder whether the scan was done properly or if something might have been overlooked.
I had an anatomy exam on October 13th, but because of the baby’s position, they couldn’t properly evaluate the face and neck and asked me to return the following week to repeat the exam. It’s been over a week now, and I haven’t received a call from the clinic to schedule the follow-up. I’ve called them twice, but they said there are no available appointments at the moment.
