I purchased a brand-new battery directly from the parts department, expecting a factory-fresh unit. Instead, the battery provided was completely dead out of the box and failed to start my vehicle. After installing it at home and realizing it didn't work, I had to return to the dealership and spend a couple of hours of my time—and their staff's time—resolving the issue.
