I took my 2017 Ram 1500 sport model pickup truck to have the brakes replaced before we went on vacation. I got a previous quote for complete brake service for brakes and rotors while my truck was being serviced for oil a change. I told service advisor that I wanted only OEM brake components used on my vehicle and he assured me that OEM would be used. My husband and I purchased a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee this past weekend (April 20, 2024) from Lois at Performance Jeep on Loop Road. While the vehicle is beautiful and Lois was pleasant, sadly we have learned that their manager greatly misled us regarding our trade-ins. I responded to an advertised lease deal on their website. A 2023 Jeep Gladiator Freedom Edition for $499 a month for 42 months @ 10,000 miles per year. When I got to the dealership they claimed they didn't know anything about it and could / would not honor their advertised sales price. The deal on their website specifically referenced the Gladiator I test drove. I'm very disappointed.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE FOR SERVICE. A diagnostic fee was $175. Incorporated in that charge was a “storage fee” and a “parts fee” for running a diagnostic. The part I needed, they said was $265, when in reality the same Mopar part everywhere else I called was $108. Performance Chrysler was going to charge over $600 to complete my repair. I took it to another Chrysler Dodge Jeep Service shop that charged just over $200 for the same job.
