Yikes My sister had purchased a used bike about a year ago. She had it serviced this summer. They told her it would be ready in a week. She never got a call so she went in. They couldn't find it. It turns out they mixed up the numbers on the slip. Her bike was still not ready. They said they'd fix it by the next day. My sister was leaving to go out of town. They wanted to charge her for storage. Enough said.
NIce bicycle shop with good deals This shop is located in one of the many strip malls located around the Fox Valley Mall. The store has many items that a rider would need,tools, water bottles, cloths, and any other gear. They always have some sort of sale going on with some really good buys. I would recommend this store if your looking to upgrade your equipment or just getting some accessories. The store has more to offer than a big sporting goods chain does with a nice little shop feel. WORST Service Imaginable I dropped off a Mavic rear wheel for repair during 4th of July weekend in 2008. As of this writing - May 2, 2009 - it has STILL not been repaired. I've visited the shop no fewer than 6 times in those 10 months, and each time, they assure me it will "done next week." This so-called service is as pathetic as it gets. Don't be fooled by their phony promises. That repair shop is a black hole where bikes go to be fixed and get lost for ages.
