Took my car to be serviced here. Not only was it overpriced but the work was not done and what they had printed on the work sheet was false. Left my car at 7 went back at 3 still hadn't been looked at. So sat and waited. Quick service then at 5 had to have wheels rotated and fix squeaking noise. Sitting inside the office could see it being done. 6 o'clock came meant to close at 5:30 so rush rush rush. Still had squeaking noise. Do not use the Hobart service centre under any circumstances. Communication was deplorable, service was the worst I have ever encountered with a car dealership (and I have worked in fleet management for 12+ years) and they had a complete disregard for concerns raised. Promised a part in 10 ten days (yes, I was told, they had checked with the warehouse in Sydney and the part is there) and prepaid on that basis. I have been a loyal customer for 14 years but have been disappointed on several occasions. The main issue was when l presented my low milage Mercedes 220 for an assessment regarding warning messages on the dash. PA could assess the issue in 4 weeks at a cost of $450 (to pug into a scan tool) and then book in for repairs in 6-8 weeks after that . This car was not to be driven prior to repairs. I recently made contact to gain my full service history as I'm selling my vehicle. Only to find my service history had been completely wiped off with their system due to a new system change over. Really frustrating how nearly seven years worth of customer information can be discarded and not carried over. I will never be going back, nor do I recommend them to anyone looking for a new service centre.
