I have no words for how bad my visit today made me feel. I have been going here for over 9 years. Dr. McDonald was amazing but she no longer works there. Today when waiting for the doctor I could hear them outside the door talking about another patient. Then the nurse said “ you had 3 pregnancies and had two abortions” . I did not have an abortion I had two ectopic pregnancies, this was very upsetting. When I addressed this with her and then the doctor it was just dismissed. The current staff is truly amazing. They care so much about their patients. The office staff is great, too! They do everything they can to accommodate my busy schedule. The office manager, Barbara, is the kindest lady ever. She goes out of her way to help others. I’ll also add that Dr. Austin has delivered both of my kids. She is simply fantastic at her job, but she’s also an incredible person, so sweet and caring, too. I highly recommend Perfectly Female.
I don't typically write reviews but I had such a great experience working with Melissa Dhas today that I felt the need to share. As a healthcare practitioner myself, I know and understand the importance of meeting patients where they are at. I felt that Melissa listened to my concerns and provided me with multiple options to allow me to proceed with the one that I was most comfortable with. While I've had poor experiences in the past with other Physicians at this practice, today I saw Michelle Downie, NP and will now only be returning to see her. She is sensitive, knowledgeable, kind and I never once felt rushed. She answered every single question I had and walked me through each step she was preforming. Undoubtedly the best experience I've had with a OBGYN Dr in this area. Have already told my mother and sister to see her as well! :)
Dr. McDonald is quite the most insensitive doctor ever. This place is a total red flag
