BEWARE....SHADY CONTRACTOR! WHAT A TOTAL RIP-OFF!!! This guy is so unprofessional and a con artist!!! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! Charged $50.00 for an estimate (which we needed for insurance purposes) which was rejected by the insurance company as a joke! Scribbled like a 5 year old did it with no analysis or details. It was totally useless! Received three other FREE estimates that were done in a timely manner and professionally! WHAT WERE WE THINKING.....!?!?!

Read what he says Questionable business ethics - he WALKED on me 22 days after he 1st saw my home. His words "thankx alot for the job will beback with you soon first step is sanding areas of house will keek you posted. when you do get some samples of colors email then to me so i ccan put them on your home to look at. thanks again dave" surprised me 7 days later with this email "hello mr.oooooo, i went by the house today to revisit the job. Great Painter! We first called Dave to paint our basement after being flooded by Hurricane Irene. Dave and his crew were very professional and did a wonderful job restoring our basement. They did some minor construction work and painted very quickly and neatly. They were very easy to communicate with via e-mail. They also powerwashed our house. Worst Contractor We Ever Dealt With As a lifelong Cranford resident and homeowner I can state unequivocally that Dave Stone and Perfect Painting are the absolute worst contractors we have ever hired to do work on our home. We have had the pleasure of hiring many local contractors who have done quality work and were honest. Dave Stone is definitely not one of them. Not Perfect I was very disappointed with this companies work. They did not properly prep the walls and the end result was very unsatisfactory. Every flaw was magnified by the fresh paint, and the color was uneven. I ended up repainting after three months, using a different painter. The new painters were shocked by the quality of work, and thought I had done the painting myself! PROS: None CONS:

Perfectly Wonderful! We hired Perfect Painting in December, 2011 and were extremely pleased with the job they did. Owner, David Stone, was professional and so were his men. absolutely horrible Four years later and I'm still so angry at the shoddy work done by this company. 6 months after Perfect Painting finished the paint started to peel and crack. Absolutely no pride in a job well done.
