Fantastic. First time eating here. Won’t be the last. Worth the three hour drive for sure.
Pan pizza with burntish-carmelized crust edges has a unique and surprisingly delicious flavor. This day, I had only spinach & cheese, but this type of pizza is better with more things on it, especially sausage and/or pepperoni. Drier than expected because there is much crust/ pan style. A nice change! There is almost always a wait; phone first.

Traveled all the way from Connecticut to eat the best deep dish in Chicago… Pequods did not disappoint!
We heard a lot about the pizza so we tried it out! The crust was so thick and the taste of the yeast in the crust was overwhelming. I’ve had deep dish before and really enjoyed it. The toppings were minimal, so all I could taste was bread! Very disappointed 😞
