No question, THIS is the best pizza! – Uno, Due, Gino, Edwardo, Nancy's, Giordano -- all bow down to the absolute best pizza in Chicago: Pequod's. Since we've discovered this place, we've dragged all kinds of friends to Pequod's, and several have made in their own pizza mecca. It's the rich ingredients and that carmelized crust that sets Pequod's apart.
Worth the trip from the city – I grew up near this place, and though I like their Lincoln Park branch, I LOVE this place ... it really is better. The crust is amazing, and that SAUSAGE! I'm in New York now and wish I could get this stuff delivered via overnight delivery!
I'd Risk Castration For A Slice! – This is the PERFECT pizza joint. Pequod's is a secret hidden treasure converted from an old house in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The tables & chairs are garage sale caliber w/ knotty pine paneling on the walls. I LOVE IT! The restrooms are a scream even if you dont have to go. The pizza is the best.
