Disappointed UPDATE: Up until this update, not only was this one of our favorite restaurants, but we had referred NUMEROUS family friends and co-workers to this restaurant. Food was amazing best Mexican style rice in the city
We’re not from Detroit, but we visit often and stumbled upon this place over the summer. As a Mexican, I really appreciate the care and respect they bring to representing Mexican culture, even though the people running it aren’t Mexican themselves. The tequila selection is excellent, and the service is outstanding. We came back today, and a big reason was Dacarell. He consistently makes us feel welcome and truly understands hospitality. This place is just woke garbage. a blk owned MEXICAN restaurant? They put tajin on literally everything. On the chips , on the wings and everything else. Don’t go here. It would be different if it was actually good but it’s not. who tf plays Beyoncé and similar music at a Mexican restaurant? Oh yeah. woke people do. I guarantee you they’ll delete this review too
