Peppinos Pizza -- one time only for me. I went to Peppinos in Seneca, SC, today for the first--and last--time. The 2 pizzas cost $34. While waiting to get them, I asked for a cup of water and was told you don't serve water (that I'd have to buy it). I was dying of thirst and needed to take my afternoon pills and needed a cup of water. I asked if I were to sit and eat (instead of take-out) if I would be served water. The employee told me "no." I can't believe I couldn't get a cup of water, especially after spending $34. Thank... read more
Very unsatisfied I have given this place several tries and everytime I keep hoping it gets better but it just gets worse. I actually got gray pasta once. They boast delivery but it takes two hours and when it gets there it is usually the wrong order and its cold. I have to say they could be a really good place to eat but they are just slacking big time. I think this will be my final time eating there.
The Best Pizza in South Carolina!!! I was shocked to read the review from Cindy G! Although I cannot blame her, she probably has never had REAL pizza. There is nothing in her review that I agree with. My family and I have been to the Seneca, Clemson, and Greenville locations on numerous occassions and the food and service have always been wonderful. The quality and freshness of the food is amazing and the staff and delivery drivers have always been very helpful and friendly. I think that her story about waiting 4 hours for a... read more
Peppinos Pizza is... From my first taste in Athens, at the coolest beer hall in town, to the latest pie I had tonight - peppinos has never disappointed. My wife says its an acquired taste (she remembers how I used to reek of stale beer and smoke after a late night there) I say its a taste of home. I no longer live in the area, but every time I come to town, I always get one or two.
poor service First of all, their ordering system and setup was confusing when I went there for the first time. I ordered a pizza slice during lunch. There were about 3 other people there already eating. I waited 45 minutes and was late for work. Ridiculous! It was a slice of pepperoni pizza for crying out loud. And it was horrible! Just a chunk of bread with about a quarter size dab of cheese and sauce. My boss ordered pizzas from there one Saturday and he called them two hours later wanting to know where our pizzas were and... read more
Greasy, floppy crust pizza.. a must PASS The pizza is awful at this place. I like it thin and crispy, and when you pick up a slice of this pizza it just droops. The cheese is so greasy it makes the top layer of the pizza a slight orange color. I have friends who love this place, but I just don't get it. On the plus side, they do have decent salads. Service is usually below average with you having to stand and wait for someone to make eye contact before they will come wait on you.
